Help!!! ignition switch from a e46 2005 330ci

HI all

does anyone know how to remove the ignition switch from a e46 2005 330ci

if you want to remove the barrel? well from memory works on E36 , put the key in,you will need the key,look at the part the key turns do you see a tiny hole ? 1/2mm well jam a longish straight strong pin i used an allen key .i think you then turn the key keep pushing the pin and pull on the key and the barrel pops out ! should work if you see the tiny hole, its simple but fiddly, good luck
