Brain-Dead with a Diploma

Thought there was an thread on this corpse, but didn't find it:

http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/l...611-story.html

Quote:
The family of Jahi McMath -- the Oakland girl who, at 13, was declared brain-dead last year after complex surgery to remove her tonsils -- is lobbying her school to issue an honorary diploma.

With her class now preparing to graduate Friday, the family is reportedly asking that Jahi be remembered at the ceremony with an honorary diploma. But her uncle, Omari Sealey, posted a message Tuesday on his social media accounts saying school officials were resistant because they had received "too many complaints" about displaying anything regarding Jahi.
Updated before posting:

http://blog.sfgate.com/stew/2014/06/...r-her-diploma/

Quote:
The Oakland eighth-grader who was pronounced brain-dead after tonsil surgery in December — but whose family has kept her on life-support equipment — will receive an honorary diploma from her middle school on Friday, family members reported Wednesday afternoon.

Their refusal to accept the circumstances only prolongs their anger and grief. Terrible situation and the hospital that took her in should be called in to question.

She's not just legally dead, she's friggin DEAD.

It's really a sad situation all around. Young girl goes in for fairly minor surgery, complications occur, she dies 3 days later, family is grief stricken, somewhere in the grief family gets the idea she's not really dead, fights big battles to stake that claim, finds doc/facility that agrees with them, keeps dead girl on respirator for 6 months. Ugh.

“Jahi should be graduating from the 8th grade this month but it may not be possible for her to make it to the ceremony, as she is fighting to recover,”

"She is blossoming into a teenager before my eyes."

Ugh.

keeping brain dead ppl physically alive is F useless.

Pull the plugs on these useless tits on society, & send a vase of flowers to the F idiot relatives. nothing like spending ka-jillions towards health care workers, hospital administrators, insurance companies, ...u name it...for what? DYCK.

Done deal.

I think like Josef Goebbels on this topic.

(Yes, I am a dyck)
