FS: Escort 8500 Radar Detector
Hey everyone. Just letting you know that e46elitistprick (Patrick) has an Escort 8500 for sale. I talked to him today about it and told him I'd help him out with this sale (since he's really busy). It's been used for barely 4 months and is in excellent condition. I was going to buy it off of him but I decided to hold off on it because I already have a radar detector.
This is an Escort 8500 - the latest version 8500. It comes with all the equipment necessary. It's a sweet radar detector. The 8500 and 8500 X50 are basically the same. There is no major difference. actually there is a big difference in range....between the 8500 and the 8500X50...i myself think 200$ is too much to sell it for used...

its $200 barely used with all the accessories and $100 off retail, and $140 cheaper than the X50.. nto to mention I tried an X50 on a roadtrip this weekend and didnt notice anything special and almost got nailed by instant-on Ka anyway... why is $200 too high?

I personally have to say that $200 is a pretty solid deal. This is a flawless looking radar detector for a discounted price. I know a few people who have tried the 8500 vs. the 8500 x50 and they say there is not any difference - barely any. I think Escort is just trying to bring in more money and manipulate the public.

I think new ones go for like $380...so $200 used is a good deal. I'de buy it if i didn't already blow my money on a new one when they came out.
