My Ride: 2005 BMW 330i ZHP
Replaced control arm bushings. Shaking steering wheel.

So I replaced my control arm bushings in my garage with A new pair for bavauto. when I finally finished the job I took my sweet ride out for a spin. Everything worked out fine! Until I reached speeds excess of 60mph. My steering wheel has a very very light shake to it. Its sort of visible when I let go of the steering wheel but I just mostly feel it when I'm holding on to the wheel. Very annoying. My car (2005 e46 330i w/ Zhp) should be smooth sailing, not a shakey steering wheel.

I took my car in to get an alignment and balanced the front two wheels. What else could cause a shakey steering wheel? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Tire wear is fine. Even wear all around. It really is driving me crazy. It started after the new bushings were installed.

This is an old thread, but I'd also like to know if you figured this out? I have same issue.

Balance all 4 wheels, not just front 2. I solved my problem by getting all 4 re-balanced even though they were balanced a few hundred miles prior to the wheel shaking.
