I bought the same battery from Sam's Club. Did you need to trim the little metal piece that holds the battery down? We have the same model year vert.

My Ride: Landcruiser
I replaced mines with one from O'reilly (Super start platinum model 94rplt) and it was a littl snug but still fit. I went with an agm style battery
