Thanks bros. I was promised the bumper by monday, so I'll plan on taking a bunch of pictures then.

Anyone else think this Technics setup might be worth the effort?

Have you decided which one you're taking to MadFurther?

Quick update!

First bit of self-inflicted damage. I know, I know it's really bad. Already got it fixed but haven't taken an 'after' picture yet.

Some 'after' pics with the second set of springs.

Forgot to take a pic after I installed the steering wheel. I love the new perspective it gives to the gauge cluster.

aaaaaaand the bumper will be delivered to me tomorrow!

You really should put some diplomatic type flags on the front and roll in to MadFurther and/or C&C like a freakin dictator with the way this is starting to look

So good looking man, any plans for some wheels?
A set of AMG monoblocks would make the w126 absolutely killa

Thanks man

I just sold my monoblocks actually. I had a set of 18x8 and 18x9. But I really have a bunch of other priorities before I think about changing the BBS. They are pretty desirable wheels for the car (also the best offset) and I think some rear spacers would set them off a bit more

Ah I see, the BBS do look nice on there, maybe a little brightening up? I think polishing the lips would make a world of difference.

By washing it? It's not a Ford truck...

They've really toned down the amount of salt they use now. Instead they put down some chemical, which I'm sure is terrible for the environment, but doesn't rust out cars.

Halloween is only a few months away, great costume idea. That would be awesome.

EDIT: p.s. still loving this build Alec! Technics used to be one of the big names in home audio year back. My dad had a lot of their home decks / amps / etc. Quality gear that sounded a lot prettier than it looked.

I'm doing this for football season. I've ordered 6x8 flags with the team logo and plan on mounting them up front.
