Audio suggestions

Hello everyone, I own a non HK non navigation sedan and am looking to revamp the speakers and add a subwoofer or two. After a substantial amount of lurking, I still have a few questions remaining.

1)I am most likely going to go with Infinity 6.5's in the front doors (these seem to have the most positive reviews from ya'll) My Kenwood HU definitely won't have enough juice to power these and I was wondering what amp you guys would recommend? Is it worth replacing the mid and tweeters? Or could I get away with disconnecting them both? With regards to the amp... Could I remove the factory amp and place the new one in its place?

2) What are your opinions regarding line-out converters? Tapping the rear deck speakers would provide a bass signal for the subwoofer amp, but would remove the control function from the HU correct? How difficult would it be to run preouts from the HU's pre outs to the trunk and is that a better route than the line out converter? How much will the rear seats dampen the bass from the subwoofer(s)

Lastly, if you have any recommendations or suggestions I'd love to hear them!

I replaced the front midbasses with the infinity 6032Si. They're a very good speaker, not too much bass though. Your subs should take care of that. As for the tweeters and midranges, YES, definitely replace these. I replaced my tweeters with a pair from Audax (had to get a little creative with the mounting), and this has made the most difference. The highs are so much more clear. Just make sure they're both 8 ohm. Check out partsexpress.com

The front/door speakers are 5.5" (5.25"?) and not 6.5"!

Where did you stick your amp for those infinities? Any adapters for them to fit?
