My Ride: 2002 325xi
Question Audio options (Dice vs. Grom vs. Kenwood)

I recently bought a 2002 BMW 325xi and the only thing it's missing is the ability to connect to my Samsung Galaxy S3 so I can use Pandora and play music.

I initially bought a $10 aux connection off Amazon but figured out it wouldn't work even though my Business CD has a Mode button. SW/NO. 41, HW/NO. 43, KW 04/02, Manufactured Jan 02.

Since I'm looking to spend a money the two biggest things I'm looking for is better sound quality and a bluetooth connection.

My budget is ~$150.

I really want to keep the OEM head unit since aftermarket design looks disgusting, but if it comes down to it I could deal with an aftermarket head unit.

It seems like I can get a GROM Audio or DICE Mediabridge unit that sits behind the radio for around $150.

I can also get a Kenwood KDC-BT558U aftermarket head unit for $150 that has bluetooth, aux, etc.

What would be the best option? How do the GROM and DICE units perform sound quality wise?

If you can, stay away from DICE. I've used it for few years,, while sound quality is good for music itself. It has quite some interference with Ibus...
Thats my honest opinion.
Best setup? Simple Aux cable attached to the back of the OEM head unit. Unless you want ipod controls from the steering wheel etc.
