2003 330i single 3in exhaust

has anyone done a single 3in exhaust on their car? I have headers, intake, im considering changing my exhaust to a 3in right after the headers. if I would run a single 3in I would just run one muffle since I like my car loud haha

I also wanted a single exhaust to run a cat converter to pass smog. I know I wont pass the visual test but just to pass the check engine light test

I have it on my 330i. Custom made merge stepped to the 3" SS pipe. Vibrant rez and a straight through vibrant muffler with a 3" section welded on for a "tip"

You're crazy, I can't get my 3 inch quiet enough for my liking. What muffler are you using? Is your tip resonated? Likely a straight through muffler and just a straight piece of pipe off the back as tip will wake it up some for you.
