I just want to verify something, I ordered what was shown on the front and the title to this thread is "Ipod AUX Bluetooth Adapters for E46"

That being said, I just received mine and it does not look like it has Bluetooth. Can someone confirm before I pull out my existing iPod connector?

There are two different models for the Enfig adapter.

This one does not have bluetooth: http://enfigcarstereo.com/DENSION_GW1LBM1.html

This one has bluetooth: http://enfigcarstereo.com/DENSION_GBL3BM1.html

You just needed to read down a few posts in this thread.

I'd love to. What additional features will we have with the new software?

Doh! Yep, that is what I thought, thanks.

Okay, this one is FS http://enfigcarstereo.com/DENSION_GW1LBM1.html $65 from me.

Or is I could swap out just the module + some money that would be great too.

New software adds SIRI activation when FF is held down. But it deactivates Next playlist when you are connected through the iPod cable.

You can swap the unit but the harness is different.

I see. Probably no need, then. I'm not an apple/mac/iphone/ipod guy.

Since I'm posting, I'll give another plug for this unit. I've been using it to stream music via bluetooth for a few weeks. The sound quality is excellent IMO.

The handsfree calling is also very nice. When a call comes in, you can answer it simply by pushing the "next track" button on the steering wheel. To end the call, just push the "previous track" button. When you take/make a call, your music will pause and resume when the call is ended.

I realize that these are standard features for bluetooth systems, but for someone who has been wanting this for 6 years, it has been amazing.

Hey Christian, I am considering purchasing the Dension GBL3BM1. It seems like just what I need to fully utilize my stereo. My business headunit has a CD player in the dash, but no CD changer in the trunk. Would the in-dash CD player work with the Dension? Also, I was wondering if there were any discounts and how long it would take to ship to Little Rock, Arkansas.

You don't need to have a CD changer installed in the trunk, but your car needs to be pre-wired for the CD changer. Correct me if I'm wrong, Christian, but I believe that to be the case.

Thanks for the help! Do you know if I would still be able to play from the single disc drive in the head unit?

Yes. You can still use the single disc drive in the head unit with the Enfig adapter. Essentially, after you hook up the Enfig adapter, your head unit will recognize it as it would recognize a cd-changer. You can switch between bluetooth/aux, cd player (single disc in the head unit), and stereo by pressing the "mode" button. If you don't have a "mode" button, you should have a "cd" button that will switch between the enfig adapter and the single disc player.

Christian,
I am looking on your site for my 2001 E46 with business CD and DSP and have some questions.

1) I see a GBL3BM1 and a GBL3BM4. What is the difference? I am looking for BT, streaming BT audio, and iPod integration.
2) Are there any new models coming out I should wait for?
3) Are there any coupon codes?

Thanks so much!

Just wanted to say thanks for great ppl from Enfig Car Stereo. My Dension GBL3BM1 runs for a month now with both iPhone and Nexus 5 without a single problem. Enfig shipped the adapter in no time, installation with the help from videos was 1h job and I am still amazed with the quality. I've called them before I've ordered the adapter and they have been more than nice.
Thanks again!

Sorry guys august gets a little crazy with installs so everything gets backed up.
The BM1 is for your car the BM4 is for nav radios to connect in the trunk.
There is a $40 cable that allows you to connect a 2nd USB to the 9 pin that will take an iPod.
No coupon codes currently.

I'm looking into getting the GBL3BM1 (Bluetooth). I want to be able to charge my iPhone/iPod and use a 3.5mm stereo cable for Sirius radio. Which additional cables do I have to buy?

There is currently no way to do ipod and aux with this device. We are working on a pass thu aux cable but we havent even seen a sample yet so it should be at least 4 months before its available.
