Drive 4 Corners BMW Meet - August 1-4, 2014

Drive 4 Corners has opened registration for the meet in 2014!

If you haven't heard of Drive 4 Corners yet, let me fill you in. We are a non-profit group focused on organizing and putting on the biggest BMW gathering in the Rocky Mountain Region. Last year we had over 60 BMW's parked at the top of Wolf Creek Pass and the Continental Divide for a unique photo opportunity. Our goal is to create an annual event that promotes the BMW community for all those who are interested. We want to keep the entry price low and get all the discounts possible in town and at the hotel so that anybody and everybody can make it out!

We are into the preparation stage of the 2014 meet, and have firmed up all of the details regarding date, time, location, and a majority of activities throughout the weekend. We are working on getting discounted rates at the Family of Choice Hotels to all those traveling long distances. Send and email to info@drive4corners.com for this discount promotion.

What: The focus of the meet is having a relaxed weekend with fellow BMW enthusiasts at a getaway location with scenic views and friendly BMW banter. More Information available HERE.

When: August 1-4th, 2014

Where: Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
Quality Inn - 158 Hot Springs Blvd. Pagosa Springs, CO 81147. Front Desk: 970-264-4173.

It really is a great scenic area, and worth the trip alone for the views along the Continental Divide.

We had participants come from Texas, California, Nevada, Arizona, South Dakota, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Maryland in 2013.

A main focus for the event is the driving aspect that is only really found in impromptu enthusiast meets and organized BMW CCA drives. We wanted to change that by driving to a picturesque location and meeting up with fellow enthusiasts at the destination to talk BMW's. This year we have caravans organizing from TX, CO, AZ, NM, and UT!

Another important aspect is the accommodations for friends and family that allow you to choose what you want to do over the weekend. This could be a trip to the hot springs, the local outfitter, Continental Divide, or even Treasure Falls.

This will be the first weekend in August and we need a few people to help lead a caravan from New Mexico, Texas, and another caravan from Utah. The caravan out to the event with 10 fellow BMW drivers was great fun and we would like to provide that from other states away.

We also need some sponsors who would be interested in attending the event BBQ on saturday with a booth, and giving our participants some extra goodies.

If you'd like to learn more about the event, check out the event in review post on the site http://drive4corners.com/index.php/2...ent-in-review/ and please PM me or email me at Tom@drive4corners.com

I will post more detailed information such as schedule, event feature car, and caravan information when it is ready to be distributed.

Last year's Tee with feature car e24 6 series.

Sure, we have been working at getting a local meet together in July. The goal of this is to get more people together, but to also build anticipation and excitement for the meet which is 3 weeks later. Here's all the detail:

Regarding the meet itself, we have rough schedule posted here, and we are finalizing the tshirt design to be released the first week of July.
Also, Denver caravan information going public at that time also.

56 registered cars, the leading chassis right now is E30--can you guys change that to E46??

Well we can't fit everybody's schedule, but good luck with your thesis!

I hope you could still join us for the drive portion on Friday morning. It will go to Salida and you can head north back to Denver if needed. I know a few people who can only do this:

Either way, 90 cars registered!

Very nice!

Drive 4 Corners is an annual BMW gathering and BMW community. You just missed the event back in the start of August, for 2015 has begun, although nothing has been formalized just yet.

We had a great turn out with just about 100 cars throughout the weekend, and if you didn't already see, take a look at the Event in Review: http://drive4corners.com/index.php/d...ent-in-review/

Or see our D4C 2014 Videos!!

What do you drive?

Are you already apart of the facebook group? This seems to be the biggest community of Colorado owners, and many of the D4C people are also in the group. https://www.facebook.com/groups/Colo...group_activity
