just drill a hole in the ski pass in the back seat.. the middle one thats what I did and the seats completely cover it no problem ! don't drill the trunk you will have water problems later on ! it's what I did and easily got the keys out through the ski pass !

pull the back seats out and remove the sides out and you should be able to put a stick though the gap you have to hit the trunk release latch

Happened to me before with my M3, I did a search a on here and found out all you have to do is take out one of the rear speakers, then you should be able to put your hand through where the speaker was and grab open the backseat latch, took me like less than 30mins!

Very true. Do this first before you start drilling all over the place.

This will allow you to drop the seats and get in the trunk.

i tried taking out the speakers but the stupid tray under speakers did not come off and i got a bit worried i might snap it off and get rattling noise from the speakers in the future. i contacted BMW and they told me the keys should get here tomorrow so i decided to be patient and just wait.

IM AN IDIOT ANOTHER VICTIM OF KEYS LOCKED IN THE TRUNK < BUT my driver side window is open like 5 mm and i can bend it and stuff , so i reached out for main key button pressed it and no **** happened so i guess that is disabled or something idk , then i tried to hook the latch and **** i bend it hard and it didnt open up the door like WTF , i have a convertible 2001 and i got my wallet and phone there because i was working on the damn thing and its not insured and etc and i cant call up the dealer asking for the key cuz **** them ,they want my title which i have no clue where the **** is it at because i dont drive the car
