The story... This car was traded in by the original owner at Lake Forest Ferrari with ~5000 miles near Chicago for a new 360 modena. One of the sales guys at Lake Forest liked the car so much that he bought it personally. At that time the only mods were the muffler, SSK, and Pedals. He owned it for a year and then I purchased it from him. The car had 11K miles at that time. I added all the other mods since I bought the car. The car has 34,XXX miles now. The car has never been in a collision and has been dealer serviced since new. I can email or post the CARFAX if interested. It is clean. The car is still under factory warranty (4 year/50K) and does have the 100K motor warranty. The car has been Zainoed frequently. Only defect is slight rock chipping in the usual M3 locations (behind front wheel, rear fender flare in front of rear wheel). Of course the entire front end is has a ClearBra and no chipping whatsoever.

Pricing...
KBB = $37,910 trade in and $41,285 retail
NADA = $37,800 trade in and $42,625 retail
97 2001 M3 cars on Autotrader.com, average price = $43,310
CAR IS PROBABLY WORTH ~$40K

Mods have a retail value of ~$14K not including labor
I think they're worth ~$8K if parted out and sold

Looking for an offer around $48K. If it doesn't sell in the next fews weeks, then I'll part it out, return the car to stock, and put her on EBAY. I'm also willing to lower the price and sell without the wheels or audio upgrades.

I was hoping to avoid the labor of parting out, but I'll part it out in a few weeks if none of the current potential buyers step up. I'm gonna miss her.
