Spacers or not?
Greetings everyone
! I just ordered 18x8.5 wheels, with locking nuts, for a 2001 325CI with sport package. My question is this: will spacers make a noticeable difference for my car, and if they will, do I have to buy new locking nuts, or make any other changes to the existing setup? Looking to weigh the cost/benefit of those spacers! Thanks for info.

Whether you need them or not depends on the offset of the wheels and the width of the tire you plan to use.
You will need longer lug bolts if you run spacers. |

Thats how they look like
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthread.php?p=1815675 The purpose of spacers is to push the wheel out towards the fender more for more of an aggressive look |

Thanks for the info guys. Now I really need your help! The wheels are 18 x 8.5, the tires are 225/40/18 and the offset is 35 mm. The wheels are now on the car, and I don't think they are far enough out. Am I good to get some 15 - 18 mm spacers and put them on? Thanks
