Does anyone have a self amplified Bazooka tube?

Just wondering if anyone in here has a self amplified bazooka tube in there BMW. I have friends who have tubes and they sound good, but was wondering how they sounded with a stock BMW stereo.

I am in the same situation I am not looking to blow the doors off my car I just want a little more bass. I just talked to a friend of mine who knows a lot about car audio (he has always had nice systems and installed them himself) he said a self powered bazooka sub would work great plus it would be extremely easy to install. Because the battery is in the trunk you dont have to worry about running the power cable through the fire wall into the passenger compartment. So I think I am going to go ahead and get one soon. I know they sound really good I just wanted to know if anyone had one in a BMW.

used to have one in the 'stang and sounded okay. the powered ones are super easy to install without messing up anything or installing anything permenent. only thing is with the stock hu you have no independent level control for the sub amp.

Mine sounds like crap, but I think it's because I don't have a fold-down rear seat and the sound can't make it through the firewall.
