iPod interface finally installed...
Well, after much waiting with part in hand, I got the iPod installed in the car. For those of you in Maryland or close I would recommend DSI mobile electronics in Laurel for any audio/electrical stuff that you don't want to tackle yourself. Circle BMW originally told me that the interface wouldn't work with the HK sound...wrong! It works great. In other news...modded the car while sitting in traffic by peeling off the airbag warnings on the visors, and in NY this weekend a guy was nice enough to give my door a speed ding. I think that I am also going to install the aux input in the DSC panel so I can plug in anything I want and also plug in the iPod if there is a song that I just HAVE to hear that isn't on a small playlist. So for those of you thinking about getting an iPod...do it...totally worth it. And just think, then you can install it in your car, keep the interior looking stock, and have 20 gigs of music for less than the price of a cd changer.
