Steering volume sensitivity??
Hello, I have a 2001 325Ci, and I was wondering if there is any way to make the volume control on the steering wheel any less sensitive. You have to push and let go of the button as fast as you possibly can if you don't want a drastic change in volume. I have driven two other cars with volume buttons on the steering wheel (BMW 740iL and Mercedes S500) and both of them have much better sensitivity where it is much easier to control. Thanks for any responses.

I was wondering the same thing, I find that very annoying and thus use it only when i am on the freeway or something...

yes you can adjust how much the volume achanges with an increase/decrease in speed - how to do it depends on whether you have nav or not. I have nav and its right in the settings menu.
I'm not being a smartass when I say the best thing is to check the manual - its should be right in there

Hey Val, I think he's referring to the volume controls (buttons) on the steering wheel. Each time you hit volume up on it, it leaps up quite a bit. I personally do not know how to change this increment and I just use the vloume knob
