Pioneer AVH-P7500DVD Problems!
Hey everybody the weirdest thing happened to me tonite. I have a BMW 740i, but I thoight that I would post here since none of the 7 series owners know about car audio stuff. ANywayz, I have the Pioneer AVH-P7500DVD which has worked flawlessly for the last year or so and all of a sudden when I turned on my car the display was not turning on. I was so confused, so I turned the car on and off 3 more times and the display still wouldnt come on. Next I tried to reset it and the display still wouldnt come on. I did notice that when I press the tilt button and make it fold and hold it till it wont fold anymore the display will light back up for a brief second then turn off again. Do you think that the light behind the LCD is burnt out? ALso I noticed that my subwoofers werent turning on? I have 2 JL Audio 12 W6v2's powered by a JL AUdio 1000/1 going to my ALumapro 5 Farad Capacitor all going through a Monster Cable 100 amp circuit breaker type fuse. THe weird thing was that when I turned the circuit breaker off it was clicking and the JL 1000/1 would take a second then change from the green led to the blue led (low voltage) then light up the yellow led (low OHMS) as well. My question is how can my subs suddenly go to a low ohm load if they were wired in a prowedge box from the factory at 4 ohms. One final thing was that my circuit breaker when I move it, the relay from the alumapro capacitor makes a clicking noise. My question is, do you think the relay or the cirucit breaker is defective; which is why the subs arent turning on? DO you think the alumapro capacitor is dead;; so no current is going though? THanks guys...
