My Ride: facelifted e46
alpine cda-9831 has am/fm sound, no cd sound.

all channels are wired correctly and remote ant wire is hooked up. the unit powers up fine and sound comes from the radio am/fm, but when i try to play mp3s or cds, there is no music. it shows the file playing, just no sound. any help here? this unit is brand new thanks!

The blue or blue/white wire is not hooked up properly. I forget which wire it is. Maybe someone else remembers.

the blue/white wire is the remote turn-on wire which is hooked to my factory amp. the blue wire is for the power ant, am i supposed to hook this up to something?
