Any of their woofers will work for you - all are sq drivers imo. 1 IDMAX should have about the same ouput as a pair of IDQ's. ID's a bit more output then IDQ's down low. ID's require a bit more airspace then IDQ's and a single IDMAX takes about the same airspace as a pair of IDQ's, but the driver's mounting depth is at least 8".

So, depending on what kind of power you have, that should get you started. All drivers work well sealed and ported. The ID and IDMAX are better suited for IB then the IDQ's.

Personally, I run a pair of IDQ12's;

i have a pair of idq12 and they sound great. theyre sealed and the sq is awesome. if u want sound quality, use an infinite baffle setup using the trunk as the box.

The only ID sub I would use is an IDMAX. I guess you could port IDQ's or ID's, but still not my cup of tea. I do not think the IDQ's or ID's have enough low end. They arent as extended as the larger format subs.

I've been reading that the V.3 IDs are just as good as the IDQs...just hearsay though.

The IDQ10s are a pretty impressive sub for $150. I have a trio...not I just need to build a box.

Its also a breath of fresh air from the cast baskets with 1000lb mirrored magnets. I think the IDQs look damned sexy.
