jl audio 12w7 and 300/4 amp

I got a price of $900 for a jl audio 12 w7 sub and 300/4 amp is that a good deal or not.?

are you planning to run the sub off of that amp? if so I'd say to get a mono Class D sub amp or a bridge-able 2 channel. outside of that I'd say the deal is pretty good depending on the brand of the sub amp. if it's a JL amp that's pretty decent, but they should be able to come down to 850 or so.
