Burning Mp3s to a DVD?

Hey Guys,
I have the Alpine IVA-D300 and I am trying to figure out how to burn my mp3s to a dvd and play them in my car. So far I have tried 2 different methods and both work poorly. I burned the 1st dvd as Mp3s via Nero and only about 15 of the songs are able to play. The 2nd dvd I used Roxio as data and the same outcome. I burned a CD of MP3s about 5-6 cds and works perfectly. Which program can I use to execute my problem to burn mp3s to a dvd and how?
Thanks,
Asif

Not sure if you can burn them to a DVD (it maybe possible) but I know you can burn the MP3's as data, using Nero (I use Nero 6 - works perfect).

Here's how.
Open Nero and click (Make Data)

Then you create a folder, to put the music in.

Then name it, you can name what ever (Music Style, Artist, Name, etc).

Than double clicke the folder, once your in the folder you can add the music, songs. You can add as many as you want.

How it looks when your done, once you done you can go back to 2 steps and add folders.

If you have any problems let know.

You are supposed to burn the MP3s as data.

To the OP, stick with Nero. I suspect it may be the brand/type of media you are using. You didn't say which format of writable you were using, but I'd suggest -R. If you're already using -R, try a different brand. DVD-Rs today are kind of like CDRs in the early days -- some brands work better with certain players than others.

No, I have not found how to. I burned like 25GB of mp3's over 5 DVD's Fujifilm DVD+ and only one of them was able to read. But it takes over 2 min just to load the music to play so not effecient. If anybody know a better method please reply.
