Gary....tire fitment question

I have a 2004 330ci coupe with the staggered setup running Dunlop 8080E's on BBS RSGT's 17x8 all the way around.....My question is what would the pros and cons be to running the same size tire all the way around? and what would be the bigest you could put on there?

245/40's?

thanks

rob

Since staggering is mainly a cosmetic issue, don't expect much change from not doing so. Some would even argue that keeping the same size all around will give you more nuetral handling. We've had no probs with 225/45R17 or 235/40R17 all around. I've heard of some guys running 235/45R17, but we've had a few reports or rubbing so I can't officically recommend it.

Wide for the front, may not clear.

I've got a question that relates to all of the above. I am about to order a set of fuzion zri's as well, and am considering a staggered setup. What, if any, is the difference in wear, in terms of time or mileage, that a staggered setup would create since they cannot be rotated all around?

And a second question, what tire size would you recommend on 18x8.5's if I were to run a staggered setup on my 330.

Thanks a lot for the help.

If you're staggering on 8.5", I'd use 255/35R18 rear (same size used on ZHP). Since you won't be able to rotate, you'll likely wear out the rears first, but IMO this is not a big deal, most other sport package 330 guys are in the same boat.
