basslink installed w/ ski pass plate knock out

I do not have fold down seats or the ski pass. I was able to remove the ski pass plate easily. I knocked one corner loose with a hammer and a flat head crow bar starting there popped out the rest of the welds - no prob.

I had the basslink installed right over the new hole. I was impressed with the results. From what I read here I though I would hear nothing. The results are great. In fact, I still have some tuning to do b/c I find the bass to intrusive for some music. I think I have the "bass boost" too high and the frequency too low.

We'll see if I can tune it just right.

I also had my 12-D Pioneer changer installed, but it was determined that the BMWPILA was defective, so I just sent it back to SoundDomain.com.

I report on that later as well.
