Any suggestions in speaker cable and power cables in an aftermarket setup?

I know what Kinds of cables are good for home theater setup but the company that makes mine doesnt do car audio. What companies make High end speaker and power cables for car audio. I'm familiar with streetwires, monster cable, and Rockford Fosgate. Any suggestions other that these

home audio cables work in car.

Speaker and power cables are just copper. Just get the cable that has the most copper strand count.

If you want to get the best sound out of your system, then you should definitely go with Monster Cable, although they are really expensive, they're worth every penny!!! go check out www.monstercable.com

My second choice would be Phoenix Gold cables. They are not as good MonsterCable but much better than others.

Yea I was most impressed with Monsters stuff for car audio. As far as power cables I was looking for something with good shielding to prevent bleed to my signal cables.

Anybody know where online you can get the high end Monster or Phoenix Gold cables? I know where to get them locally but they price gouge like a b!tch

agree with MCD. It really depends what kind of hardware u are running. If u are running fairly good stuff, you'd want to go with home audio cable, since it actually tends to be a bit cheaper than equivalent quality car audio cable! Since u know home audio u should know audioquest, CableTalk, etc. Give them a try. I'm using JDM spec nakamichi cables in my system.

Yea, I'm currently running Audioquest on most of my home theater setup. I'm still piecing together my components for my car stereo but it will consist of MB Quart Q series, JL W7's, and I already have a couple of the Phoenix Gold Amps I need. I know the importance of good cabling so I need to set aside some of my budget for this.
