Is the HK system worth it???

Or should I Amplify the stock speakers and add a sub.

Everyone will tell you that if you are any type of audiophile or like a higher end system to get the stock and upgrade. If you are looking for a one time clean factory system that sounds good, get the HK. I got the HK and admit it is the best stereo I have heard in a new car right off the dealer's lot but lately I have been lurking around trying to find a way to upgrade the subs. I think that is one of the only weak components in the system.

If you plan on upgrading than go stock.

If you just want a decent sounding system than HK is worth it. Just don't turn it up all the way and expect it perform like aftermarket.
