Optima Yellow top battery

Does anyone know if the Optima Yellow top battery fits in the stock location in the rear trunk. What are the dimensions of the stock battery anyway?

if your battery is in the trunk original it wil fit but you have to alter the bracket that holds the battery in place

When I had a yellow top in my trunk in order for the bracket to work I had to raise the hieght of the battery with a plank of wood.

ANyone know what these batteries run on average?
Would it be a bad idea to put this in without any upgraded ICE?

Yes...on average they run $134

I have the blue top in the eclipse. Its a deep-cycle marine but I wanted the blue top to match my color scheme in the engine bay. I paid $145 for it.

You do not need to have a system to put one of these batteries in the car.

Having this battery wont do a whole lot in a stock setup but when you have a lot of ICE subs and amps then they really become more neccessary from what I understand. All their technology boils down to "the power is there when you need it" such as when you play a track with fast deep changing bass notes that crave power.
