Is stock speaker wire good for diamond audio hex components? I would like to keep x-o

x-overs in rear.

Most people probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference between high quality speaker wire and stock BMW speaker wire. For front speakers that are probably getting only 50-100 watts, stock wire will be fine. For subs or anything with higher power/current needs, you'll want to upgrade the wire.

Yeaaa! I've finally found a fellow Diamond fan. Don't use the factory speaker wire, and don't put the x-overs in the trunk. Trust me, you'll be much happier if you put the crossovers closer to the speakers. Sure, it might save you some hassle if you leave them in the trunk, but SQ wise there is a slight, but noticable, increase in quality if you put them closer to the speakers. Also, do yourself a favor and use upgraded wire. You'll decrease noice and have increased shielding ability.

I had the Hex's on my old ride. i just gotta say that they are one of the best sounding speakers out there. (if you tweak them the right way) Close to Focals! Far as the wires go, i'd rather lay out better wires though. cuz those things can take a lot of power.

I'm using their D5 300.2 to power two compenent sets in the front doors. I run their mid-line speakers as back fillers off a smaller amp.
