13 hours to detail exterior

Like the title says 13 long hours. Paint on the car was damaged with a 4~5" scratch on the top of the drivers side passenger door from new. I had taken it back to the dealer and they sent it out for repair. All they did was try to polish it out which it was much too deep for. It still showed and to make it worse they turned the whole door into a big hologram. I haven't been happy since.

Got brave and bought some touch up paint and a pc7424 with polishes and pads. Put two coats of clear coat in the scratches and a chip that must have been from a rock or something I found on the front passenger door. Sanded with 1200 grit and polished with a yellow pad and SFX-1, white pad with Meguairs cleaner deswirl, anouther white pad with Meguairs polish, and blue pad with Sonus finishing polish. Final coat by hand with Meguairs NXT. Wow the results were worth the pain I'm in. Paint finish is fantastic at last.
