Thats nice. Does anyone know if anyone has set up two 12W7's in a Bimmer yet?

I was looking to put a 10w7 in the spare wheel and then the amps sunk into an elevated floor (similar to what someone else has done here w/ an A/D/S sub and amps). They quoted me roughly $500 a day for 2-3 days in labor only. Of course that's expecting them to work on the install ALL day.
Depends if the setup requires fiberglass / acrylic work or not. Basic box building shouldn't take that long. I'd say this setup was at least a grand in labor? |

Yeah, that looks like a 2-3 day job. When you start to use fiberglass and such, that's when the labor and material costs jump up. I was tempted to get one 10W7, but for the price of one of these, you can buy two Solobaric L7s. I guess you're paying for the brand name.

Paying for a name? Dude, have you heard the W7 compared to the L7... its like freaking night and day. JL right now makes one of best subs out there right now. IMO, the only things that are even close are the ECLIPSE titaniums. Period.

of course the W7 are a cut above the L7's, but have you seen the price difference? I'd rather have the L7's, IMHO. I can't justify spending so much money on a car audio component.... then again, i couldn't justify any of the other mods on my car either and I still did them!
HaN-hAn ps. try a hsu research sub.... |
