Revieuw new rear springs 55 MM of 2,7 inch lower

I had my car lowered 2 inches and i was not satified. So i talked to my tuner www.carplan.be who does only beemers and is exclusive importer of Racing Dynamics, Cobra suspension, Alpina and Breyton.

He adviced me to buy a set of special custom made Cobra springs (18O euro) that would lower my car to - 5,5 cm or 2,7 inch (cm : 2 = inch?)

Whell i ordered them and put them on and results are great. Car is lowered very flat (before the rear was kinda to high and the car was tilted a bit)

The behaviour at the roads is much better now also. Before i felt a lot of left and right movement at my steer wheel. When i drove the car i had to take both hands at the wheel, now i can relax driving with 1 hand.

There was a bit rubbing but we solved that with removing tha platic inside covers a bit above the rear wheel. These are cover that prevent dirt going to the rear. There are still there but we cut the sides a little bit

Now no rubbing at all with my tires 265 (rolled fenders)

Overal great mod. Better driving, confertabel driving , great looks

My suspension is a bmw oem sport suspension so now with my new set of springs its great. So now the front is 2 inch lowered and back 2,7 a 3 inch lowered.
