Stereo Upgrade Advice

I would like some stereo advice please. I have a non-HK equiped sedan, and I am thinking about making an inexpensive upgrade to the overall sound, but especially the low end. Do you have any advice? Please include an estimated price of your suggestion as well.

I have HK but this may apply here.

I added a bazooka bass tube. An EL8 would work fine. They are powered to 100 watt. Pretty easy install in the trunk, power to the battery, ground to chassis and splice the rear 2 speakers for your inputs.

Once installed you can turn down the bass on the head unit which will allow you to drive the interior speakers harder w/o distortion.

cost is about $250

I can't answer that... I have never heard the basslink. Over the past 3 cars I have had 3 dif. bazooka and have always liked the bass sound and feel. In my Ci I originally installed a 10" and found it to be way too powerful for the car, I then returned that and installed an 8" and it is perfect for my taste. Goodluck!
