For people who recently ordered...

Ordered my 325Ci 04/29/02. Please post if you ordered around this date so we can compare production dates, and delivery times. I can't stand waiting. My dealer told me 6-8 weeks. I'm sure it'll take longer then that.

I ordered my 2002 325i on 4/20/02 i was looking on bmw owners circle and the production date is 5/17/02. Never order a bimmer before and this is my first time on this site so i would like some info also.

ordered my 2002 330i on 05/02/02.
i can't remember anything other than "first or second week of july" it'll be here.

had two dealers tell me 8 weeks from order to delivery, so i suspect it's a pretty accurate number.

i know once it hits the states my dealer said he'd have an eta to when it would make the dealership and the eta would be accurate to within +- 1 day.

the dealers would tell you anything to sell a car. All the dealers I went to said 6-8 weeks. Well, lets see what happens. My order is still "in order" on the owners circle.. can't wait to get production number

I ordered a 325i 2002 on 04/25, but the dealer messed up my order (wrong interior and exterior colors). However, I did get the VIN for that order in two days and it's production date was 05/10. I will be changing my order to a 330i 2002 today. My dealer tells me that it will take 4-8 weeks.

i thought you had to have the production number or the vin to even login?

Man... Its been 2 weeks since I put in my order and my status is still "On order". Have you guys received an estimated production date yet? I called my dealer to ask him, and he told me that it takes at least 6 weeks for the production to be finished and another 6-8 weeks for delivery... Is this accurate information?

I ordered 4/27 and they told me 8-10 weeks. As it stands right now, prod. date (from the info I got on the website) is June 7. According to the dealer, I should be getting my car late June, fist week of July latest.

so according to your dealer. It only takes 3 weeks to ship from germany? wow...

From what I've heard from ppl who have ordered they will tell you anything to get you off their backs. As long as the car gets here in one piece, I don't really care. Waiting sucks with passsion though!!
