Angry Argh!!!!! Went to the dealer cause service light was on and they gave me this!

I noticed it when I got home. So gave my service guy a call. I told him I noticed it when I got home, about 5 hours later. I told him about the scratches and he said he noticed that when I was leaving. So he put me on hold. Durring that time, I was thinking he said it could of happened anytime between when I left and when I got home. I didn't back in to anything on my way to my mom's house. It had to be at the dealership. So he comes back and tells me that one of the porters backed in to some stuff and failed to tell him. I have service scheduled for tomorrow and they told me that they would handle it. Pretty pissed off but I'm happy that they admit it and that they would take care of it.

yikes

thats horrible - i just got my car back from the damage Sonnen did (and yes I paid to fix it because they refuse to take responsibility).

Just make sure they repair your car correctly and warranty the work so its not some quickie job that does not last well

Yeah. I hope they redo the entire bumper. I don't want some hack job!

It happened at Patrick's. I'm just happy that they admit it and that they will take care of it. Things happen, at least they took responsibility.

Angry nope...

Sonnen just lied and wouldnt fix it

Silver lining is that I now go to SFBMW who actually know the TSBs and have fixed some stuff that Sonnen installed badly or just plain missed

Do dealers do body work?

I have a small dent in the back of my car...long story...i am pissed but ne ways...was wondering if the dealer would fix it if I were to bring it in, it would be at my expense of course, but just wondering do dealers do that?

Not that I know of. They usually have some sort of third party do all the body work. The dealer that I went to has a sister company that is a BMW Collision Center. They just share the dealers name.

Ouch, that hurts!!! The best way to repair it is to repaint the whole bumper, unless they have a real pro to handle the job.
