question for anyone who owns the alpine cha-s634 mp3/cd changer

i noticed that my changer is always powered on regardless of what state my car is in. installed it last night and saw the green power light on when i was finished and going to bed. still saw the green power light on when i went to check in the morning on my way to work.

for those that have this changer have you noticed the same thing? i'm just a little concerned that if i dont drive the car for a week or so and the changer is constantly draining power, can it drain my battery? or is the pull so little that it would take 9872934723 yrs?
