on the left side (driver side)of the trunk ?

and if you know what BMW P/N will I require to mount it there.

Here are 2 pics of my Alpine CHM-S630 in the factory bracket.

The part #s I used are:

82 11 1 470 436 cd side mount installation kit
51 47 8 266 569 trunk panel

These are for an `02 330Ci with fold down rear seats. If you have a convertible, or 4 door sedan, or non folding seats the parts are different.

whjeffs, i realized that you have the alpine CHM-S630...
Are you using it with the OEM HU? What do you need to hook it up? Cuz I have the CHM-S620 and I am wondering if I can hook it up to my bimmer...
