Shark Injector

How many horsepower would my 323I get If I flashed the ECU with a shark injector?

There are dyno graphs here http://www.turnermotorsport.com/html...CT_ID=INJ3-OBD

Not sure about the exact gain on the 323, but I read something written by Jim conforti where he said they were able to make more power gain on a M52 motor than the M54 because of tighter tolerances and higher sensitivity. Expect 5-10, depending on whether you add an intake at the same time(do it).

I looked at the graph, and it looks like a 4 HP gain at 5500 RPM and 10 HP gain at 6000 RPM. I would have to really rev the engine to get that extra power. Did anyone have their car flashed with this? Is worth the money? Can you feel any difference?

I haven't tried the shark injector personally, as they haven't released one for my build date yet(june 2003). There are other options out there, someone recently posted experiences with Powerchip. whether it's worth it or not is subjective, that money could be spent on other mods with more bang for the buck. if you switch to a good cold air intake and get the shark injector, i think you will be satisfied by the power gain, but that depends on you, you will definitely feel it though.

kinda like the guy said before: the shark works best, shows the biggest gains with the m52 motor (like your 323), not only does it increase horsepower and torque it raises your rev limiter and improves throttle response. In my opinion it is worth it, it will be the next thing i buy when i come up with the money.

there are lots of reveiws and discussions about the shark if you search...

I did some research on it previously and if you can swing an extra 100 i would say powerchip about 16 in hp and 19 for torque. don't remember where in the band it was but that was what i found for my 323. My friend used powerchip on a few of his porsches and the power gain was awesome especially after they tuned it to what mods he had before. Just my input

What about the shark injector and K&N Cold Air Intake vs. shark injector and Conforti CAI?
