can i tap the power from the front?
i am installing a valentine1 near the rear view mirror. Could i just tap the power wire to the lights in the upper middle console by the sunroof switch?
What would be the pros and cons of this? |

I would think you would risk overloading the circuit for the lights? I don't know how much power the V1 draws? |

V1 drwas very little power, so it would be fine if tapped to the lights circuit. I would recommend tapping into the homelink harness though, that way the V1 will be switched on/off with the key.
