I followed instructions from a previous diy but am having extremely hard time with front and rear!!!
i disconnected both rear shocks but neither control arm dropped any! i gave up moved to the front unbolted the tie link and control arm from the shock but couldn'e get the shock spring assembly away from the control arm. please help |

For the rear, I unbolted the sway bar link and then step on the control arm/rotor (don't remember which, but you get the idea). Grab the spring and slided right out.
For the front, yeah, looks like the strut will never clear out of the control arm. Some pushing, banging, more compressing, and hey, by luck it cleared out. It takes time especially the first one, then you figure how to do the second one more easily. Took me like the whole day into the night to finish. Take out and install one side at a time, then you have a reference to how it's suppose to be. |
