DIY, brake fluid flush?

I plan on flushing my brakes tomorrow. I know the basics of it but still have a few questions.

Do I have to have someone pumps the brakes while I open the bleeder valve or will the fluid just flow out by gravity?

Im flushing out the ATE super blue and am putting in Motul RBF 600. Since there not the same brand I dont wanna mix them. When should I start filling up the resevoir? once it begins emptying?

I already know to start with the wheel furthest away, anything else I should know?

PS-Yes I did search but couldnt find one with enough info.

Just did it with my friend helping. He pushed the pedal while I did everything else. We used just a tad over 1 liter and it took us 2 hours from start to finish.

Invest in a Motive power bleeder. It will be the best $50 you spent when it comes to brake maintenance. A two hour, two man job becomes a one hour (or less) one man job.

i think the way the cheap power bleeders work is bad for the fluid. It needs a seal between the fluid and the pressurized gas or you are doing damage to the fluid.

The one thing I don't like about the Bentley manual is that it reads like a BMW owner's manual. I assumed there was something so unique about the system that you in fact need the DIS tool that the dealer has, if you accidentally introduced air.

Glad it worked out.

I could do it much quicker now that I know what im doing. Everything is much easier the second time around.

PS-I also did it twice actually as shown in the directions on madrussian.
