Seems like the Forum lost all it's history... all the good and bad things... old valuable information have been replaced by this new forum more focused towards emphasizing the current and latest debates...
Okay so i may be just whining about all the tracked threads that i lost but still i mean we had a lot of references back there... sigh...

Granted it may give the admins more control and/or flexibility... the view won't be enjoyed by everyone... and one of the reasons i seldom go to DTM is because of this annoying view...

not feeling the new board, reminds me of DTM, and that was one of the reasons i never went on that board, to complicated. And to what cecil said, we lost are past post

Well, according to Tim, there's a new version of vBulletin coming that will give us the threaded view again. I'm used to Bimmerfest being this way, but I have to admit that Fanatics just isn't working as well without the threaded view. In the meantime, I'll be patient and wait for the new vBulletin.

I'm not feeling it too much either...the old board hooked me because:

1) It was sequential...no digging through multiple pages trying to remember what I've seen/read already.
2) It marked what I had seen.
3) The threads made it easy to choose what to read.
4) Didn't use as much bandwidth..now I download the post and all replies and wait and wait.

I'm still a fanatic sporting the sticker.

But, if we can get the old methods back while retaining the new features it would be awesome.
