Changing the colour of the gauge and dash lights?

Sorry if this has been mentioned in one of the other DIY sections...

has anyone managed to change the colour of the gauge lights in behind?
perhaps with blue LEDs or something?

I am interested to see if any of you have links I can follow to take the dash apart and get at the gauges to possibly change the lights.
