Anyone know of a company willing to make me Custom Springs?

Well, I just got my 22's a couple weeks back, and want to drop the X. All of the aftermarket tuners I've found only drop the X5 moderatly, the lowest being 1.5" all around. I want around 2.5" to 3". I wish I had front and rear leveling systems, that way I could just go to the dealer, and drop it with the DIS system. Please let me know if you know a company willing to make me custom springs. Thanks in advance everyone.

KW suspension will lower it by a max of 2.5". Check this link out.

call ground control. They should be able to get you any spring your little heart desires.

Good Luck.

Thanks bro, I'll call them asap tomorrow, when I'm not at work. How much do you think the springs would be roughly?

I called them up, and they said they don't make custom springs? That blows.

I also think that $3300 is a lot of money but these are the variant 3 which will give you adjustability Independently for the rebound and compression. In other words this kind of adjustability you will only find it on race type suspensions. Most coilover you can buy only allow you to adjust compression. You must also consider that if you only buy the springs for a 2.5 drop may be too much for your stock shocks to hadle therefore you may have to buy a complete matching suspension like this KWs.

if he needs a drop and doesnt want to pay, cutting the springs is plausible

It's not that I don't want to pay for new springs, it's just that $3300 is freaking expensive for the drop I want. I'm going with Intrax springs.

Yeah, you don't want coilovers if you're just looking to drop your ride. They're adjustable and you can play with the height, but the main motive for coilovers is to be able to tune your suspension for specific driving events/venues/conditions. If you just want your car to sit low and could care less about dampening or rebound, you'll be wasting a lot of cash on coilovers. Glad you were able to find some springs, though. Like someone suggested, definitely look into upgraded shocks too.

Also, don't cut your springs. I would never suggest that to anyone.

You obviously didn't know how to talk to Ground Control. They probably thought you were a *****. They offer all kinds of springs from 4" to 7" long in all kinds of spring rates from 200lbs/in all the way up over 1000lbs/in. If that isn't custom enough for you, I don't know what is.

None of which will fit the stock shocks or frame/suspension mounting points.
