The sun roof adds 80 lbs to the car. I don't know how many you will lose by taking it out.

4got i had this, evosport went through and weighed all the crap. looks like the savings is around 35.29 pounds

use a heat gun to warm it up and peal it off. try not to heat the tar up to much b/c it will start to seperate. its possible to get the pieces up as one sheet. then with the residue leftover i would recomend either Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover, #M Adhesive Remover, or kerosene in soaked rags and let them lay on it for a while
