Help with Guage ring install
OK, I am having trouble removing the wiring harness from the cluster, so I can remove the cluster and install the rings. Any and all advice would be appreciated.

OK, now I have the rings in, was VERY CAREFUL and the check engine llight came on and the windshield wiper fluid.....HELP!!!!

Take it out and unplug it again. Maybe the two wires aren't fully in.

OK, I unplugged it and fully set it in. This time, of course nothing goes smoothly one of the locking clips snapped. In a quick fix, I electrical taped it so it does not shimmy lose. Ghetto style, but nobody will see it. The light stayed on. I then spoke to a buddy of mine, who told me that to reset the light, unplug the negative terminal for 3 minutes, that should reset it. BINGO, it worked. Thanks once again to all that assisted.
PS: Any other advice on the snap lock, or should some electrical tape do the trick? THANKS!!! |
