do you have a coupe or sedan? I don't think it matters because the gripper can go on without using the screws. The screws are extra and I didn't use it because the gripper felt snug without it. If I don't make any sense...check your pm for my cell phone and call me.

I have a coupe. I called my buddy at Sonnen BMW and he is going to hook me up with Instructions. I will pass them on to you if you like.

I am all set...the gripper has 2 "teeth" that slide into premade "slots" in your trunk. I remember the instructions didn't say it but I figured it out and the 2 screws are extra. I didn't feel like drilling any holes in my trunk so I left them out.

yes, they are accessories OEM BMW. In the US, you can get them for around $20 from the dealer.
