how do I help my sleep?

Apparently 7-8 hours of sleep isn't enough for me. But I can't sleep for 9 or 10 hours.

Why the heck do I always get headaches and feel tired all day with this much sleep?

I work in IT and sit in front of a computer all day. What can I do to help me feel more awake and energetic. It sucks cuz I know that most of my days I can't give the 100% I want to give on a workout.

i think the problem is not the sleep but the amount of time in front of the screen. just make sure you take regular breaks from looking at the screen and at lunchtime go for a walk outside to get away from artificial lighting.

carb deficiency?

Green tea, fruit and yogurt energize me at work, and last until my nightime workouts.

your body sleeps in 90 minute intervals.... for instance, try sleeping for 6 hours, 7 1/2, or 9 hours. if you sleep for 7 or 8 hours and then wake up, you'll feel all groggy

how do I wake myself up in the morning? Is there any sort of mental trick or something to get my mind to an active state to pop right up?

Any tricks at all to wake me up?

electric shock maybe?
