You're talking about the e90 325 I assume? Negative attention, a new Honda Civic looks better.

Yes, E90. I got a lot of positive attention. All the security guards in the garage at work were drooling over the car and asking me questions about it. I like the looks of my car better, but nothing wrong with the new styling. New Civic does look nice too.

also, that pic is photoshopped and the tails aren't going to look like that.

as far as driver oriented cockpits, i think ever since the e46, its been moving away towards a cockpit that surrounded the driver. I went from an E36 to and E46 and so far, nothing has been able to give the feeling like the E36 did. You felt surrounded by all the instruments and controls. I think thats starting to go away with the newer BMW's.

i'm not nit picking, i love the interior of my E46, the E90 is different. im sure in the end it will end up working for me if i every get one.

give it up dude the new bmws arent as good looking as the older ones. only ones that dont run with that are the 6series (yes i know theres no direct generation before it) and 7 series.

Likes:
-the way it drives, still like a bmw
-the ammenities ie bt, xenon lit handles, new rain sensing wiper switch, dimming side view mirrors
-the engine for what it is (325)
-fit and finish better than e46
-temp dials are a nice touch

Dislikes:
-Touchy initial bite on brakes, not enough feedback
-Steering is too heavy
-Throttle lag
-Ergonomics are terrible, window switches too far forward, interior is no longer driver oriented, terrible location of cupholders
-Quality of materials not up to par with e46
-HVAC not easily controlled, anything less than 83 deg blows cold air and 84 deg is too hot, no comfortable level found
-Interior styling very bland and un-bmw like, door panels big turn off
-Exterior styling

It's so nice to have my baby back after all this. I will be keeping this car for ahwile.
i miss your gold wheels

You know...for what it is...i kinda like it...

IMHO...STOCK FOR STOCK...the newer e90 definitely brings a fresh aspect to the 325...even the stock rims arent actually that bad...and the general style of the ext is just a bit more interesting...enough so that you think about the car for abit...when I see a e46 325...i know whats there...and there is nothing to debate...(cept why the (im sorry for those who have them...) stock 16 in. wheels look like that...)

I disagree on the steering. On my e90 330i the steering is PERFECT so much feedback and I love the heaviness. Wherever you point it, it stays with confidence. It has ruined me from driving non BMWs.

I don't like the stock tails either, but check these out:

They match the lines of the car so much better.
