Do you need a special harness for track day school?

As it says in the title...do you need the special harness in order to participate in a 1 day novice track day school? Thanks.

Short Answer: NO. Have fun out there. Your stock car is more than enough to start out with.

Roll your seat back, insert buckle.
Pull the belt as tight as you can
Hold the belt tight around the buckle(male end) so it doesnt move
unbuckle
Twist buckle 360*
Reinsert into buckle
Move seat forward

If you find yourself slidding around in the seat a lot. CG Lock makes a seat belt lock for stock seat belts. You can leave it attached all of the time and engage it only when you want it. I think they run about $50.00. For a one day event. Stock seat belts are fine.
