Description of the A-5

Summary: The Tippmann A5 is one of the meanest paintball guns that the recreational player can purchase. The A-5 lives up to Tippmann’s reputation for reliability, while still offering one of the highest rates of fire and accuracy for mid-priced recreational markers. The cyclone feeding system, which force-feeds paintballs from the hopper into the chamber, is a valuable and quality mechanism that comes standard on the A-5. Ball-breaks in the hopper are virtually unheard of, and misfires due to misfeeds are equally rare. The A-5 also features easy field stripping, which is one area that Tippmann was known to be weak in before. This marker is ideal for the recreational paintballer, but may be too bulky to be useful to tournament players.
Tippmann Response Trigger kit increases your trigger speed by resetting the trigger and sear with excess gas during firing. This gas is used to operate a cylinder behind the trigger to do the resetting. The pressure of your finger on the trigger pulls it back to fire the next shot. The speed is determined by the amount of flow through the knurled adjuster on the side. The upper limit on the rate of fire is set by this adjuster
